BTR World Holding AB is a Swedish green business conglomerate with a passion for the planet. The group invests, develops, manages and advises businesses in the fields of sustainability and hospitality.
Building a BTR World
Known by friends as “Better World”, BTR World Holding AB firmly believes in the interconnection between the worlds of tourism and hospitality and the necessity of creating a more sustainable and climate positive way to visit and cherish our planet.
The Company Structure
The company has two main branches. BTR World Ventures is the sustainability branch and BTR World Hospitality is the hotel and tourism branch.
BTR World Ventures
BTR World Ventures is the newest branch of the group and is dedicated to sourcing business opportunities that can generate both profit and a platform for supporting the rest of the holding with green business initiatives. Whilst BTR World Ventures was born with solar energy projects it aims to reach further by investing in and supporting entreprenuers to develop more sustainable business and utlimately create a climate positive impact. BTR World Ventures is an active angel investor in global sustainable investments.
The BTR World Initiative
The BTR World Initiative was born during the COVID pandemic. It is a fund of 500,000€ which annually is allocated to provide seed and angel capital to support sustainability related entrepreneurial ventures in developing nations. The BTR World Initiative stems from the belief that the current status quo tends to fund “safe” projects in “safe” countries and leaves a huge pool of entrepreneurs without the support that they need or deserve.
BTR World Hospitality
Under the watchfull eye of its climate positive sister, BTR World Hospitality invests and advises in the goal of supporting the marvel of travel with the need to cherish and replenish our planet. Group activity varies from hotel ownership and development to hotel management and conceptual development of hotel and restaurant concepts. BTR World aims to create strong brands that leave a mark on all guests.
BTR World Hospitality Projects
Leading all suite boutique hotel of Europe – located in the heart of Palma de Mallorca it offers a unique and sophisticated style that sets the standard. The asset is 100% owned by BTR World Holding which has directly followed the full reconversion of the original and derelict mallorcan mansion into a sublime boutique hotel with the largest private garden in the old quarter of Palma.
A disruptive hospitality management, consultancy and conceptual development firm that offers innovative hotel management and branding solutions. 360 degree solutions with experience in management, asset management and consultancy with the worlds top brands such as Accor, Fairmont, Raffles, Ritz Carlton, Peninsula, Sheraton, Movenpick, Banyan Tree, Melia and a wide array of smaller chains and independent hotels.

Botànic is the definitive upscale “plant forward” dining experience. Vibrant, dynamic and bold, Botànic takes a sophisticated stance in the world of green cuisine and positions itself as a market leading concept in plant forward gastronomy. Developed by Babylon Hospitality and opened in the premises of Can Bordoy Palma, Botànic has been crafted for growth and aims to consolidate itself as a top international brand.

The spirit behind BTR World Holding ab is inspirational and wildly entreprenuerial. The founding team and key players have always questioned the status quo in search for innovative ways to have an impact whilst always being driven by purpose over profit and contribution over compensation. The team have led, invested in and operated business all around the world with projects in countries as varied as Sweden, Poland, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain, Mexico, Finland, Estonia, Greece, Dominican Republic, French Caribbean, Qatar, Dubai, Bulgaria, Italy, Thailand, Hong Kong, Togo, Benin, Mali, Ukraine, Belarus, Phillipines, Germany, Latvia, UK, Canada, India, China and more.

Don Mikael Hall
Founder & Chairman
Mikael is an acomplished serial entreprenuer who has succesfully ventured into a large number of fields consolidating a large success in real estate before founding BTR World Holding. Driven by the desire to give back and to cherish our planet for future generations, Mikael is active in supporting all group ventures by ensuring vision and entrepreneurial spirit through his everlasting hands on approach. Mikael spends his time throughout the globe supervising BTR World Holding businesses.
Artur Hall
Vice Chairman
Lithuanian born Artur is an entrepreneur and investor with a solid track record in asset management and property development. With studies in information technology and real estate development, Artur adds strategic insight and financial planning to all group activities. Currently a resident of Spain, Artur has previously lived in Sweden and the United States of America and has been instrumental in building the real estate portfolio thats served as a base for the launch of BTR World Holding.
Ludovico Dupré
Chief Executive Officer
Ludo is a seasoned senior corporate hospitality executive, brand curator and entrepreneur. With a vast experience in all aspects of hospitality management, Ludo has led the creation of two hotel management companies from the ground up, the later for the Qatari Sovereign Wealth Fund. With hundreds of openings and brand launches around the world, Ludo has ample experience in spearheading new projects, and is passionate about the BTR World Holding creed.
